CHECK IF YOU QUALIFY TO BE LED (2): ARE YOU MEEK?
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
Psalms 25:9 [KJV]
Meekness implies humbleness in spirit or manner. It is being absolutely submissive to the will of Yahweh with an attitude of humility. This virtue is one that turns Yahweh on. It moves Yahweh to unveil Himself to such a person because there is already a submissive humbleness to the will of Yahweh. To be led, you must be meek towards Yahweh. Yahweh is not a waster of time and resources. If you are not meek, you are not committed to doing only what pleases Yahweh, why will Yahweh then continue to waste His time to speak to such an individual? Absence of meekness is one big factor why many today are not accessing divine direction. Yahweh sees them as full of themselves and lets them be. Your willingness to submit to the direction of Yahweh is what will determine if you would ever be led. You know our Yahweh sees the end before the beginning begins (see Isaiah 46:10).
We saw one man that was so divinely led that he was said to speak with Yahweh mouth to mouth. That is how close he went in his relationship with the Lord Yahweh. Yahweh testified about him in Numbers 12:7-8, ‘7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?’ Is there any other level of divine direction that can get better than that? While other people saw the actions of Yahweh, Moses was a custodian of His ways (see Psalms 103:7). How did Moses arrive at this most prized relationship with Yahweh? Numbers 12:3 says, ‘(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)’ So meekness was the backbone of this enviable relationship of Moses with Yahweh. You want to hear Yahweh speak with you mouth to mouth, meekness is the way to go.
Meekness connotes teachability, apt to learn and unlearn, humble submission. Meekness means you allow Yahweh to be Lord at all times. Yahweh is free to change His mind on an earlier instruction and you are still committed to following even if you don’t understand. Meekness implies that all your being is completely submitted in total humbleness to Elohim to do with you at all times as He wishes. You see that meekness is a level of consecration. It takes the fear of Yahweh to be meek. You must come to the point of highest regards there is for Yahweh to be truly meek towards Him. Maybe it is true to say that the Fear of Yahweh is the bedrock of meekness. Do you Fear Yahweh? Are you apt to do your thing without regards to Yahweh’s ways and word? Meekness is a fruit of the recreated human spirit. So, if you are born again, you can grow the fruit of meekness. Go ahead and do that. Shalom!
REMEMBER: It takes meekness to get Yahweh to speak with you mouth to mouth.
PRAYER: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to grow the fruit of meekness in my spirit as I respond to you always in complete submissive humbleness in Yahushua’s Name Amen!
