THANKFUL FOR MARCH 2023
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:7 [KJV]
Today is the end of March 2023. From the 1st of March till today, we have seen the goodness and mercies of the Lord in all ramifications of our lives and for that we are most grateful to the Lord Yahweh. We have come today to thank Him for the success of the month of March. In case, you cannot see anything to thank Yahweh for – I know such a person will not be reading this now; let me remind you that not all that saw 1st of March 2023 are alive today to see the 31st of March 2023. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed (see Lamentations 3:22). We owe Him thanks today. For the victories of faith in the month of March, we owe Elohim thanks. Also, our attitude of thanksgiving determines, what the next month will be for us. Let us explore more on the benefits of thanksgiving.
Our text says that we should abound with thanksgiving. The Greek word translated abounding is ‘perisseuo’ meaning to superabound (in quantity or quality), be in excess, be superfluous; also (transitively) to cause to superabound or excel. You see that the English word abounding did not capture the Greek rendering. What the text is saying in essence is that we should superabound with quality and quantity thanksgiving, and allow our thanksgiving to be in excess. This is beyond theology brethren. The Lord wants us to superabound with quality thanksgiving and quantity thanksgiving. We are not just expected to thank Elohim but to superabound with quantity and quality thanksgiving. Thank Yahweh until it is in excess. Let us think a bit. How many hours can you thank Yahweh today that will be in excess and will be of highest quality. You see that thanksgiving is not something to be mindless about. It is the major channel of increase seen in the Word.
One of the benefits of thanksgiving is that it is the major channel of increase. Whenever, something is in short supply and there is need for increase and abundance then thanksgiving was employed. We saw Yahushua feeding the multitude with limited resources available but with thanksgiving, it become more than enough. In John 6:11 (KJV), ‘And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.’ In case there is an expectation that is yet to materialize in the month of March, it is not late yet, if you can offer quality thanksgiving for the issue today. Don’t murmur, nor grumble, just be full of gratitude to the Father, for that expectation and watch how it turns to your manifestation.
Secondly, whatever you have received this month or since the year began is preservable by thanksgiving. Hear how Yahweh puts it in Malachi 2:1-2, ‘1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.’ What Yahweh has done for you is only preserved in returning to Him with quality and quantity thanksgiving. Do that today.
REMEMBER: Increase and preservation of our blessings answers to our returning with quality and quantity thanksgiving.
THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, we are not worthy of the least of Your mercies. What shall we say for bringing us to the end of this great month, no loss, no tears, we saw goodness and mercies, abundance of blessings in front and at the back. Thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for the continuous flow of Your Word on this platform. Thank You for Your preservation, provision and supplies. Thank You for encounter with the Word and Spirit of faith this month. To You alone be all the glory in the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: Having returned with thanksgiving today, I declare that everything with your name on it still hanging be released now. There shall be no carry-over of March releases in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
